**BREA, Calif. Sept 24, 2012 **– Suzuki has formally announced the third wave of models to join its 2013 lineup, making for a diverse range of new machines.
“We are excited to announce this third wave of new 2013 models to our lineup.” said Suzuki’s Motorcycle/ATV Senior Communications Manager Steve Bortolamedi, “We’re expanding our entire product line for 2013 with class-leading models like the Boulevard M90 and Boulevard C50 cruisers.” This third wave of new 2013 models includes Cruiser, Standard, Dual-Sport and Off-Road motorcycles.
Boulevard Cruiser models for 2013 include the lightweight single-cylinder Boulevard S40 (you knew it as the Savage back in the day), the returning, stylish Boulevard C50 model, the more luxe Boulevard C50T model, and the new-for-2013 Boulevard M90 – a streamlined power cruiser first released in 2009.
We're especially happy to see the return of the potent M90, which won a shootout or two and plenty of accolades from our staffers upon its release several years ago. For 2013, you can get the powerful, 1462cc M90 for a base MSRP of $11,199, in either Black or Gray.
The mellower, classically-styled C50 brings a 45-degree, 805cc liquid-cooled engine, and will list for $8399. The color scheme features a deep cherry red gas tank, with black covering the rest of the bike, and pinstriped accents.
The C50T adds an adjustable windshield, spacious leather saddlebags and a studded saddle with a passenger backrest atop the already-stable C50 foundation, for a more comfortable touring setup. New colors for 2013 include white/silver and red/black, for $9599.
You'll find few surprises from the S40, which returns for 2013 wearing new graphics (white/silver and orange/black), but otherwise the same, reliable single-cylinder-powered classic cruiser foundation. Price is set at $5699.
