Rossmeyer Releases Elvis Presley Anniversary Bike Collection

If you're a hardcore Elvis fan, you probably know that the 30th Anniversary of The King's passing occurred on August 15th of 2007. What you might not know is that Bruce Rossmeyer - he of the World's Largest Harley-Davidson dealership in Destination Daytona - commemorated the event by rolling out a limited-edition collection of Harley-Davidsons along Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis.

Even if you didn't take a Platinum Tour, there were photo ops aplenty. The Elvis Presley Anniversary Signature collection - created with renowned Harley painter David Uhl and sculptor Jeff Decker - was delivered to the steps of Presley's storied Graceland Mansion at 8:00am on August 15, 2007. The group of 30 motorcycles is styled to imitate the 1957 black Harley-Davidson FLH model Presley once owned, but the vintage-vibed bikes feature a 2007 Softail chassis and drivetrain for modern-day reliability. The last bike in the series, number "30," was auctioned off at Graceland during Elvis Week (the annual celebration of Presley's life and career).
