Commissioned by Rebel Yell Bourbon, the team at Gasser Customs set out to build a beautiful blend of old and new Americana to celebrate the free, rebellious spirit of the open road.

“We wanted to use an American brand motorcycle to represent the American spirit of Rebel Yell, and the new Scout model is a bike we’ve wanted to build our way for a while now,” said Adam Gaspic, founder. “The beautiful cast engine was one of our favorite things about this motorcycle. This build is a blend of a 2015 Scout with a 1937 Indian—modern with vintage details.”

A custom stainless steel exhaust system showcases over 90 individual unpolished welds, collecting into a fishtail style muffler that echoes Indian motorcycles of the past.

The bike is dressed with custom hubs and rims laced with stainless steel spokes and brown leather accents for the tractor-style seat, foot controls and posh grips. And it’s finished with a vintage style yellow headlight.

The engine is the 60 cubic inch V-Twin 100hp donk from Indian, retaining brutish classic looks but packing technology for an incredible ride. Liquid cooling, four valve cylinder heads and a partial dry sump make a whopping 100nm of torque. A full closed loop fuel injection is delivered smoothly through a wire throttle. And the impressive hand-built exhaust contains a total of 90 individual welds. Left completely unpolished, the stainless steel system reveals the true craftsmanship of the fabrication, down to the fishtail style muffler.

Other features include a custom drilled drive cover and brushed stainless accents throughout, down to the stripped gas tank, which gives the bike a raw rebellious feel. The bike sports modern ride-ability, including a new Brembo master cylinder, a Rizoma clear fluid reservoir and custom rear shock absorbers by Hagon suspension.

Finishing touches include Rizoma turn signals and a custom stainless steel license plate bracket with an integrated brake light. All making for an incredible ride.

The Outlaw was built as a part of the Rebels Uncaged motorcycle giveaway sponsored by Rebel Yell Bourbon, the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that encourages its drinkers to never go quietly. It is one of four bikes up for grabs, and you can enter daily for a chance to win it at now through September 30, 2016.
