New Product Release: Scorpion's EXO-750 "Vintage" Lid

March, 2010

Scorpion has launched yet another helmet for 2010. This one is the "Vintage" EXO-750 Air helmet, which claims to marry avant garde upgrades with retro graphics. The old school artwork is what makes it look cool, but Scorpion also incorporates new AirFit technology and a locking faceshield borrowed from the top-of-the-line EXO-1000 to pump up the function factor.

Scorpion merged existing fiberglass/Kevlar matrix shell technology with the AirFit® internals, with the end result being a lightweight shell that meets or exceeds all ECE/DOT safety standards. The AirFit® helmet pump inflation system lets you tailor the fit on the fly, thanks to internal air bladders at the cheek that are manipulated via a chinbar-mounted button.

Scorpion's KwikWick® washable moisture-wicking comfort liner is also included, to keep riders cool on the bike, while the SpeedShift® quick-change system is said to allow the outer faceshield to snap into place in under 10seconds - without tools. And that shield is treated with Scorpion's EverClear treatment to prevent fogging.

The EXO-750 Vintage version comes in a classic black & white with gold trim or a tricolore red, white and green for fans of Italian bikes. There are also a couple of color options for modern day motorcyclists with solid matte black and solid hypersilver schemes available.

Regardless if you go retro or opt for the black or silver, a wide array of blacked-out, tinted or mirrored locking faceshields are available to match. The retail price is pretty appealing too, at under $250 (for solid colors).

**MSRP for the EXO-750: $249.95 (solid) and $259.95 (Vintage) **
