Octane Lightning by MotoStrada Portugal

Taking the sport look to another level

We wanted to bring the "sport look" to our Octane custom in the highest level and also preview the promising sport future of our brand.

This is literally all I have to go off of on this bike. Well this and the virtual Sweet Factory of eye candy sitting before me. Sure, it's unconventional, but isn't that a big source of the appeal? Turning something so capable into something so vastly different, while maintaining the spirit of the bike, and, like they said: "previewing the promising future of the brand."

This Victory Octane is a bike with no home, in the best way. Show up at a track day and you'll be embraced by the knee draggers. Show up at your local watering hole for bike night and you'll have some Harley guys' jaws on the floor. It shows creativity, a willingness to take chances, and an eye toward performance. Win, win, win.

Ohlins Suspension rear suspension, clip-on handlebars with custom grips and levers, and custom triple trees are some of the most noticeable performance parts swapped out on the Octane Lightning. A MotoGadget dash was swapped out for the stock one, and a pretty far-out looking custom headlight was mounted up as well. What looks like a GSXR front end was fit with the corresponding dual front disc brakes and 17" wheels (you'll have to forgive me if I'm wrong, like I said, only going off of the photos). The tail section and seat must have been fabricated in-house for this project, and the hard angles work really well with the hard lines of the Octane tank.

As a Victory Octane, this thing is insane. As an indicator of what's to come from MotoStrada Portugal, we're excited. Is it enough to take the win in Victory's Operation Octane competition? Let your vote decide!
