AMA Says: Meet Your Lawmaker
The American Motorcyclist Association is suggesting that motorcyclists take the opportunity presented by legislators' holiday town meetings to attend and voice your concerns. In particular, it suggests reminding them that "there is a great need for a comprehensive nationwide study of the causes of motorcycle crashes."

Keeping Up with the Janklow Case
The Rapid City Journal had done a good job of staying on top of the trial and its aftermath. It has articles about thje South Dakota Highway Patrol reviewing its policies about letting officers exercise discretion in writing tickets, following the revelation that as Governor, Janklow had been stopped and let go without a ticket on multiple occasions. It also looks at motorcyclists' continuing concerns in the case.

Wide Glides Recalled
Harley is recalling about two dozen 2004 Dyna Wide Glides, which have a fuel tank fitting that could fail in a crash and cause a fire.
