The IMS Heads for Indianapolis this Weekend

With The Chicago Stop Wrapped Up, The National Event Heads East

When you think of Indianapolis, your first thoughts are probably of The Brickyard , The Indy 500, or even the MotoGP series, but now there's another must-see event for gearheads. Fresh off the heels of its successful Chicago stop, the Progressive International Motorcycle Show is making its way east for the upcoming Indianapolis Motorcycle Show.

Hundreds of brand-new 2013 motorcycles -- from every major manufacturer in the world -- will roll into the Indiana Convention Center this weekend, February 15-17. This year enthusiasts have the opportunity to experience the definitive collection of 2013 motorcycles (and even some 2014s), as well as everything else the Indianapolis Motorcycle Show has to offer.

In an exclusive to the Indy market, the J&P; Cycles Ultimate Custom Bike Show will culminate with the U.S. Championship being held throughout the weekend at the Indiana Convention Center. The premier-class "Ultimate Builder" winners from each stop of the nationwide Progressive International Motorcycle Shows tour will compete for national honors in Indy, where only one bike and builder will be named America's finest. Get an all-access look at this season's beautiful contestants in Indy, and cast your vote for the best builder in the U.S.

The Indianapolis Motorcycle Show will also serve as a core shopping outlet for motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere, with exclusive one-time deals on everything from boots to helmets you won't find anywhere else.

"It makes perfect sense to bring the longest-running consumer powersports show series in the world to Indy, the motorsports capital of America," commented Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows Brand Director Tigra Tsujikawa. "The show will take place alongside the 2013 Dealer Expo and together the two events will create the ultimate two-wheeled weekend for motorcycle enthusiasts."

The Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Indianapolis will be open to the public Friday, February 15 through Sunday, February 17, at Indiana Convention Center, located at 100 South Capital Avenue, in Indianapolis. Show hours are Friday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 adults, $6 for children 6-11.
