Custom Kings: Hal's H-D

Hal's H-D didn't make the General Mayhem Sportster to lead from the rear. The XL's military inspiration is pretty clear and to hear the dealership tell it, the bike has the sack to back it up: “Custom built for the millennial or young-at-heart to cruise around town and then head straight out to the hinterland. General Mayhem is for a rider that likes an aggressive vehicle for the urban environment and the occasional fire road on the weekend.”

The bike survived the first three rounds of popular voting but will it win the crown? The field has diminished from 64, to 32, to 16 so far. We'll keep you posted as the contest continues each week. You'll find General Mayhem and the rest of its Custom Kings competition on the official contest page. Voting continues for the current round until Tuesday, when the field of sixteen Sportsters narrows to eight for the following round. Harley-Davidson's Custom Kings vote-off competition ends April 12th.
