Which Suzuki Cruisers Are Back For 2019

The Boulevard family carries over mostly intact, with new graphics for the new year

The formal announcement was a couple of weeks back, but now that Suzuki's 2019 models are hitting dealers, we'll confirm that most of the Boulevard cruiser family has carried over for the new model year. The Boulevard range includes everything from a powerful 109ci muscle cruiser to a single-cylinder chopper-style machine, all with an ultra-low seat height. We threw an entry-level standard model in there too, just 'cause it's got its very own cool factor. The biggest news on the 2019 models are new paint and graphics. Let's check 'em out.

At the top of the list is the 2019 Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S., the performance cruiser with attitude. The muscle-bound Blacked Out Special Suzuki (B.O.S.S.) roars in with a powerful 109ci V-twin engine, unique headlight cowl, drag-style handlebars, and sleek bodywork, for a can’t-miss presence. Cast aluminum wheels, large-diameter inverted fork, and 240mm-wide rear tire emphasize the menace. It gets two new colors for 2019: Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red scheme with black wheels or Pearl Glacier White/Pearl Vigor Blue treatment with metallic blue wheels. MSRP is $15,149, and it should be in dealers by the time you read this.

If you don’t need all the beef of the M109R, step down to the 2019 Boulevard M90 muscle cruiser, which also gets a blacked-out engine and chassis components, with a similarly styled headlight nacelle atop an inverted fork. The M90 is no power slouch either; it packs a 1,462cc, 54-degree V-twin that puts power to the 200mm rear tire via shaft drive. The M90’s two new looks for 2019 are a Metallic Thunder Gray/Glass Sparkle Black paint scheme or a solid Glass Sparkle Black treatment, set off by bright red wheels. It’s in dealers now, for an MSRP of $11,349.

If you want your 1,462cc liquid-cooled V-twin cruiser dressed more traditionally, there’s always the 2019 Boulevard C90 B.O.S.S. As you can guess, it’s also blacked out, and also gets five speeds and shaft final drive. But unlike the M version, the C90 rolls on chunky tires on wide, cast aluminum rims topped by valance-style fenders front and rear, with buckhorn-style handlebars and a seat just 28.3 inches off the ground. New hues for 2019 are Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray or Glass Sparkle Black. Get it for $12,549.

2019 Boulevard C90T Touring

It’s the C90 with touring bits like standard leather-look saddlebags and a classically styled windscreen. Otherwise it’s the same 1,462cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 54-degree V-twin engine with five speeds and shaft drive down below, but for 2019 there’s new Bright Metallic Mystic Silver paint with new tank graphics. The C90T should be in dealers now, for an MSRP of $13,049.

The medium-sized muscle cruiser still rocks a sporty headlight nacelle, inverted fork, and drag-style handlebar to go with its 805cc, 45-degree V-twin. In 2019, you can have the new Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray paint and graphics. It’ll retail for $8,699 and should be in dealers now.

Suzuki’s modern classic midsize boulevard cruiser, the 805cc C50 gets wide tires on spoke wheels, but the familiar styling is also complemented by a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 45-degree V-twin with a five-speed transmission and shaft drive. The 2019 model year means it comes in a new deep Metallic Mystic Silver or Glass Sparkle Black colorway with minimal graphics. It’ll cost $8,299 and will be at dealers in December 2018.

2019 Boulevard C50T Touring

The Boulevard C50T Touring is the tour-ready version of the base-model C50, rolling with a windscreen, studded leather-texture saddlebags, and a passenger backrest built just for it. Down below is a 50ci 45-degree V-twin. 2019 brings new Rich Glass Sparkle Black paint and new tank graphics. It’ll retail for $9,499 and is in dealers now.

2019 Boulevard S40

The choppery S40 stays in the Boulevard family for 2019 as well. You’re probably familiar with its 652cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, five-speed transmission, and belt drive packed into a chopper-style chassis, but for 2019, this badass thumper will come in Metallic Gray or Metallic Triton Blue colors with contrasting graphics to accent the blacked-out engine. It’ll be in dealers in December 2018, and retail for $5,799.

2019 TU250X

We jump outside the Boulevard family for this last model, only because the standard-style TU250X is so deserving of mention. This semi-retro classic standard packs a simple air-cooled 249cc engine with push-button starting, conventional fork, dual rear shocks, and spoke wheels to keep the way-back vibe intact. Two new color schemes come in for 2019—Glass Sparkle Black paint with blue stripes and Glass Sparkle Black/Pearl Glacier White paint with yellow, orange, and red stripes. MSRP is $4,629.
