S&S T143 V-Twin Motor: Preview

Big power for big baggers

Eleven years ago, S&S Cycle introduced the world to its 124-inch T124. It was a high-displacement power broker made for Harley-Davidson touring models at the time. With stock Harley Twin Cams hitting the 110 cubic inch mark, 124-inch displacement might not seem so big as when it was compared to the 88- and 95-inch mills of a decade ago. That might be why S&S has introduced its new 143 cubic inch T143.

S&S designed the motor fit 2008 and later Harley Davidson Touring frames without the need to modify the chassis; the contour of the rocker boxes has been addressed to clear the frame.

Obviously, the T143 isn't for every riding situation, or every rider. It is the purchaser's responsibility to consider the suitability for their application. Engine noise and damage from abuse is not covered under warranty. For more information visit the S&S website.
