Ducati Debuts its new Scrambler Cafe Racer at EICMA

The 2017 Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer revealed at EICMA.Jeff Allen

Scrambler Ducati just released its new 2017 Scrambler Café Racer at EICMA in Milan, Italy. We’d definitely like to tip the cap to the suits in Italy that have taken the Scrambler platform even further with this new model. Ducati also released another new Scrambler model, the Desert Sled, and with the current climate of motorcycling and custom shifting to trackers, café racers, scramblers, and hooligan racers, we’d say that Ducati is on the right track for success.

We're definitely not mad at Ducati for outfitting the Scrambler Cafe Racer with dual gold 17-inch aluminum wheels.Jeff Allen

Ducati’s new Scrambler Café Racer features the typical Scrambler teardrop tank with interchangeable panels, but has been outfitted with a new passenger seat cover for the two-up seat for when you're ripping solo. The handlebar position and mirrors mimic a nostalgic 60s racer, but with all the ingenuity of a modern performance machine. Featuring an all-black engine with brushed fins, the Termignoni exhaust with double silencer and black anodized aluminum Termignoni muffler covers provide a good amount of contrast to the overall look of the bike. The headlight fairing, the side number holders and the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso II with 17-inch gold aluminium wheels round out the new Scrambler package that comes in just over 11 grand.

The bar setup is a nice throwback to retro styling accompanied with modern components like the digital instrument cluster.Jeff Allen

We're definitely looking forward to throwing a leg over Ducati's new Scrambler Cafe Racer. Stay tuned for the full report coming soon.
