Nothing says “welcome to summer” like a lame traffic ticket

Nothing says “welcome to summer” like a lame traffic ticket—especially when you’re in another state. But how do you know which states are most likely to ruin your vacation? Most municipalities don’t want to publicize their ticket-happy ways.

Luckily, the 30-year-old National Motorists Association (NMA) has updated its traffic ticket rankings to give travelers insight into ticket-happy locales.
