Sidi’s updating its popular On Road boots, but don’t sweat it; you’ll still get the tough-as-nails top grain leather construction, coupled with waterproof/breathable Gore-Tex and a secure Velcro closure.An inner gaiter ensures the wet stuff stays out. A rigid composite inner sole also features a removable arch support, and plenty of internal defenses: heel protection, ankle protection and toe protection. External protection includes a leather shift pad and a padded shin plate, and the whole enchilada’s double stitched in high stress areas. A non-slip lug-type sole provides traction.
