Every January, the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy, proves to pull in the best custom bikes, and draw largest crowds to see said bikes, than any other show in Europe. Yes, there is EICMA in Milan, which is a new-year model intro and aftermarket show with trade-only and consumer days, but MBE takes the cake on the "custom" angle with 160,000 visitors over 3 days.
Literally hundreds of custom two-wheelers are inserted into nine separate convention halls, both on display in roped off contest viewing pens draped with models sitting atop them, and many on display in specialty customizer booths. The expo flows from one hall to the next, with live music in one booth to free flowing beer, prosecco and aperitivi, (i.e. happy hour) offered to guests in another. Row after row, custom Choppers, Cafe Racers, Baggers, Scramblers, Trackers, and tons of the most stylish aftermarket accessories and products abound . Stunt shows, and lots of food and flowing beer vendors outside between the halls are also part of the lively scene. If you thought motorcycling was a passion in North America or other parts of the globe, you should experience the vibrancy and enthusiasm for two-wheeled customs with a visit to Motor Bike Expo in the beautiful city of Verona.
