The best custom bikes from the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show

It’s wild to think that this is the ninth year of J&P Cycles’ Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, but here we are. Rolling into the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show were some of the best custom motorcycles in the world to compete in five categories, each with their own cash prize. MIxed in between OEMs, aftermarket parts and accessory companies, and apparel brands, the custom bikes are brought in from all over the US.

From new to old, chopper to adventure bike, we saw some pretty amazing bikes. Here are the winners in each category:

Eric Bennett's water-cooled Shovelhead won Best Modified Harley-Davidson.J&P Cycles
Jim Carducci's dual-sport Sportster won People's Choice as well as runner-up for Modified Harley-Davidson.J&P Cycles
Jon Schroder's 2007 Suzuki GZ250 won $500 as Best Custom Street.J&P Cycles
Kevin Cornish took the award for Best Dyna.J&P Cycles
Michael LaFountain was the runner-up for Best Retro.J&P Cycles
Ryan McQuiston's Panhead won Best Chopper.J&P Cycles
Shawn Ruddy took runner-up in Freestyle with this custom Chop Deville.J&P Cycles

Anthony Robinson's Triumph chopper won Best Custom Retro.J&P Cycles
