A note from today, July 25, at San Diego’s Comic-Con: Natasha Romanoff, whose catchy nickname is the “Black Widow,” will be riding a Harley-Davidson Project LiveWire electric motorcycle in the next Marvel’s Avengers movie, Age of Ultron.
In real life the Black Widow is Scarlett Johansson, and we’re not sure if she really rides or not, but some of think she looks pretty good in riding duds — an all-black zippy suit with optional weapons belt.
So for those of you wondering if Harley was going to be in the next Avengers movie, you have your answer. It’ll be two models this time, the LiveWire and Street 750.
Harley likes that kind of thing. A Street 750 was Captain America’s choice in Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year.
Project LiveWire motorcycles are not for sale, not yet, anyway. Harley has been trotting around a fleet of them for what it calls The Experience Tour to gauge customer and dealer reaction. You can read more about all that at www.projectlivewire.com.
Age of Ultron opens in the United States on May 1, 2015.
