Harley-Davidson Museum Plans Big Presence During 110th Anniversary Celebration

There will be plenty of 110th Anniversary Celebration activities in Milwaukee this Labor Day, but don't forget one of the better stops (in our opinion) in town: The Harley-Davidson Museum, which will be doing its best to put on a show.

Timed reservations for the Harley-Davidson Museum are required during the 110th Celebration and are available exclusively at www.H-DMuseum.com beginning April 29 for Museum members and May 6 for the general public. Activities planned at the Museum include the AMD Invitational Custom Bike Show, H-D Museum Custom Bike Show, Museum Members-Only Lounge, a JUMPSTART® Rider Experience, custom culture artisans, outdoor concessions and live music. All outdoor activities are free.

In advance of Harley-Davidson's 110th Anniversary celebration in Milwaukee this August, the Dear MKE Film Series has launched "All in the Family," a behind-the-scenes video about a father and son who share one of the most recognized names in the world. Willie G. Davidson, chief styling officer emeritus, and his son, Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum, give viewers a glimpse into their personal story through family photos, home movies and a visit behind the doors of the Harley-Davidson Museum ® archives. Along the way, they trace the path of one of Milwaukee's most famous legacy brands in this latest release of the 12-film series created by VISIT Milwaukee and the local creative community.
