Carey Hart's Good Ride in Sturgis

Good times in the Black Hills with FMX legend

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Carey Hart had fun as the grand marshal of last year's Mayor's Ride in Sturgis. That might be why he's coming back for a ride of his own. Earlier this year, Carey brought us the Laughlin edition of his Good Ride. Now the freestyle motocross legend and RCH Factory Suzuki race team owner leads the inaugural Good Ride through the Black Hills of South Dakota during this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The newly organized ride benefits the Sturgis Brown High School welding class. On August 7 riders meet at the Sturgis Dragway at 8 a.m. After participants have had the chance to run the dragstrip, Carey will guide the pack through a tour of the beautiful surrounding Black Hills. Lunch will be served after, and you can count on some sweet memorabilia in your own swag bag. The fun doesn't end there though. After lunch, Bell Helmets will host a pool party at the Broken Spoke. This ride is one in a series of three, with other legs starting in Laughlin, Nevada, and also Las Vegas. For more information, visit goodriderally.com.
