BB King once said "I never met a woman I didn't like. I love 'em all, in their different ways."

I feel the same way about Sportsters.

While the spectrum of custom Sportsters is as vast as one could possibly imagine, each one uniquely reflects its owner (even if that owner is a stock bike sorta person). Some people want to ride their low, mean, bobbed out sporty. Others want to ride a more upright, standard positioned bike like the Roadster. They're all beautiful in their own way. But this one... this one is REALLY beautiful.

I love how little it takes to make the Roadster a pretty standout custom bike. Not saying that the builders didn't go all out to build their bike, here. Just saying that the Roadster is a great platform if you want to build a cafe-style Sporty. On this bike, the stock wheels, suspension, front fender, gas tank, and more remain. The stance is right there, they just added the paint and a few key style and performance pieces to really set it off.

The new cafe racer stance for the rider was achieved with clip-on handlebars and a set of rear set foot controls. The custom front fairing was added to cut the wind and accentuate that cafe look, and a shorter rounded seat/ tail section was installed in the rear. Diamond stitched leather adds to the vintage feel of the seat, and the high life on the back provides good support.

A custom 2-into-1 exhaust system by Remus was fitted, as well as a Screamin' Eagle air cleaner to help the Speedster breath more efficiently. Internal cables and smaller LED indicators keep the necessary bits ticked away and as minimal as possible.

The smooth, brushed paint job was handled by Kruse Design. The lines of the paint work very well with the way the gas tank aligns with the tail. Kruse achieved what so many bikes go for: looking like they're going fast while sitting still.
