Americade Launches Charity Rodeo

Charity "Smoothing Out A Rough Ride" joins motorcycle event

Americade has partnered with major industry media brands, Baggers and Motorcycle Cruiser, to launch a Professional Rodeo motorcycle charity event, Wednesday June 3rd, during Americade Week.

Hosted in the covered stadium at the Painted Pony Ranch in Lake Luzurne, NY, the rodeo will feature professional cowboys and cowgirls competing in Bull Riding, Team Roping, Bareback Bronc Riding and more. This will be an adrenaline-filled night, rain or shine.

“I’m very excited about this partnership, and looking forward to seeing riders and non-riders support this great cause, and enjoy a great show,”

said Christian Dutcher, Americade’s Director. “Not all of us were blessed with the opportunity to ride, but this partnership will create an event that will help many disabled folks at the Prospect School. For years we’ve donated the free parking area to the school, and they’ve helped thousands of motorcyclists park their bikes. Now motorcyclists have a chance to give back.”

“Americade is a great institution that represents motorcycling touring at its finest,” says Jordan Mastagni, content director for Baggers and Motorcycle Cruiser. “We’re honored to be part of Americade 2015, and especially this year’s all-new Charity Rodeo in order to bring more awareness to the Prospect School and the exceptional programs that it offers.”

Tickets will be available online at starting May 7. The charity event is open to the public and is expected to generate thousands of dollars of donations for the Prospect School, a local charity and long time partner of Americade and motorcyclists. The Painted Pony Rodeo takes place during Americade on June 3, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.
