2018 Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Classic – Walk-Around Video

Not your grandpa’s Heritage

The 2018 Softail Heritage is a fresh youthful version of its previous self. Ditching all of that extra trim, tassels, and chrome, it is not your granddad's Heritage. The new Heritage definitely has an updated modernized feel to it, especially coming from the classic version of late.

“To my weird brain, it felt like the Ducati Hyperstrada of Harley’s lineup. Smaller than the ‘real touring bikes,’ it was easy to maneuver for the tight stuff or around town but comfy to slog lots of miles on—albeit with less packing capacity. As a classic-looking daily rider for someone who prefers a long trip or two, the Heritage Classic would be an ideal choice.”

Starting price on this one is $18,999 and can be picked up in either the 107 or 114 Milwaukee-Eight engines. I feel a huge selling point is the hard-leather-wrapped and lockable saddlebags this version has. The old version only had soft leather bags that were not lockable.
