2005 Ride for Kids Motorcycle-Event Calendar Includes Seven New Cities

For 2005, the "Ride for Kids" motorcycle charity events series visits seven new cities to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation has announced the 2005 "Ride for Kids" schedule. The 36-event motorcycle-ride fundraiser series, which raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, includes rides in seven locations where RFK events have not previously been held: Cleveland, OH; Las Vegas, NV; Philadelphia, PA; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego, CA; and South Florida (Sunrise, FL). The complete calendar of dates and locations is included below. The schedule is so packed that there are as many as three events on a weekend in different cities.

This will be national Ride for Kids program's 22nd season. The events, which have been supported by American Honda, have become "the heart and soul of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation." Since 1984, motorcyclists participating in the Ride for Kids program have raised millions of dollars to support the Foundation's research and family support programs. It's an extremely worthwhile cause because more children in America die of brain tumors than from any other form of cancer.
