Victory Issues Recall Over Fuel Pumps

Over 2300 motorcycles affected

Victory's parent company, Polaris Industries, is in the process of recalling almost 2400 2013-2014 Victory Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Vegas Eight Ball, 2014 Victory Cross Country Eight Ball, Cross Roads Eight Ball, Ness Cross Country, 2015 Victory Gunner, and 2013 Victory Hardball motorcycles.

The recall regards a fuel pump that may have been crimped incorrectly during manufacturing. This can lead to fuel pump seizure, making the motorcycle stall and increasing the risk of an accident. Victory says it will notify owners. Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall starts January 19, 2015. You can contact Victory consumer service at 1-877-737-7172.
