Pismo Beach Motorcycle Classic - September 18-19, 2010

99.1fm The Fox & Glendale Harley Davidson/Buell are now partners and "Tiny Television" has signed on as the second band.

The Pismo Beach Motorcycle Classic (PBMC) on September 18 & 19, 2010 will recreate an iconic 1929 photo taken on Pismo Beach. The PBMC will start with scenic motorcycle rides from Northern and Southern California. The rides will conclude in Oceano, CA, for a rally to kick off the festivities from 1p.m to 8 p.m. The PBMC will wrap up on Sunday, where the panoramic photo will capture motorcycle enthusiasts on beautiful Pismo Beach at 8:30 a.m.

The Ride - Saturday, September 18, 2010
There will be several rides starting the morning Saturday, September 18, 2010. The Pasadena Motorcycle Club's ride will begin at Cycle Gear, in Newhall, CA between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. The San Francisco Motorcycle Club will begin their ride from their club house at 6:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available at 6 a.m. Port Stockton Motorcycle Club's ride will leave from their Clubhouse at 6am. San Jose Motorcycle Club's ride will depart from their club house at 7:30am. All rides will meet at the Rock and Roll Diner in Pismo Beach at 1 p.m. The Opening Ceremonies for the Rally will start at 2 p.m. Detailed information regarding all the rides is on the web site.

The Fox will be present at the rally with promotional give-a-ways, along with live performances from "Rubber Side Down" and "Tiny Television".

In addition, the following companies have donated items for Saturday's raffle: Bubba Gump, Islands, Glendale Harley Davidson/Buell, Leatherup.com, Tattoo Ink Spot, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Prime outlets & California Center and a dinner for 10 from The Place. Eight handmade trophies will be awarded for a bike competition. The bike competition categories are Highest Club Miles, Largest Club Attending, Highest Individual Miles Traveled, Judges Choice, Peoples Choice, Gnarly Bike, Custom 1985 & Older, and Custom 1986 & Newer. A limited number of event T-shirts will be sold on Saturday, with pre-order sales on the web site now.

All participants will assemble on Pismo Beach, just north of the Pier, at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday for the extraordinary photo.
