Corbin Saddles For 2014 Indian Chief Models

Solo and Pillion Seating adds Comfort and Style

The stock saddle on Indian's Chief models isn't all bad, but Corbin’s Classic Solo saddle will probably look even better, while providing even more rider comfort. For added back support, their Classic Solo saddle accepts an optional rider's backrest that provides an additional nine inches of vertical support. It's also available in a CLOSE model that provides seating closer to the bars and slightly lower for easier reach.

For an added bit of luxury, the Classic Solo saddle has the option of electric heating. You'll be amazed how a heated seat can raise your core body temperature during one of those chilly morning rides. This system easily wires directly to the bike's accessory jack, while the heater unit is pre-installed right into the saddle. You can heat things up with the flip of a switch, which is conveniently located on the left side of the seat. (See Motorcycle Cruiser's November issue for a full review).

Corbin backrests install easily into hardware concealed inside the saddle for a clean look, and it's fully angle adjustable. Just install the backrest into the saddle, lock it in place with a single setscrew and adjust the backrest angle to suit. A variety of backrest styles are available to suit your taste and the amount of support desired. (Shown with the popular #02-SB Ovalbac backrest).

For maximum versatility the Corbin solo saddle also works with two different passenger pillion seats. Corbin's 50's pillion is built with high-density Comfort Cell foam (just like the saddle), to provide firm support with a low fender-hugging profile. It comes a variety of styles to coordinate with the Corbin solo. The Touring pillion provides the passenger with maximized seating area and touring class comfort, and is sculpted to eliminate hot spots and improve weight distribution. (There's also a third touring pillion option that works with the Indian Sissy Bar.) All three pillions install easily with all required hardware included.

Saddles and backrests include genuine leather seating panels in a choice of colors and styles and a diamond stitch pattern in the solo seat and embroidered warrior feather in the pillion. The side panels also get a coordinating vinyl material to keep the saddle looking sharp and to support the foam shape. Genuine leather fringe or the option of chrome or black studs comes at no additional charge (specify when ordering).

For storage, Corbin now offers a slick "Glovebox" that bolts up to the Corbin backrests in place of a finishing plate (#297-B & #02-SB only). You get four liters of locking storage for all your small essentials like cell phones, maps, water bottles and a pair of gloves. It's fully lined on the inside and the locking door keeps it all secure.
