2012 Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover Contest Announces Winner

STOW, OH - July 10, 2012 - Avon Tyres is proud to partner with the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover contest again this year by providing a set of Avon tires for the 2012 contest winner, Marilyn Elmore Bragg. Bragg was among three finalists selected from a field of nearly 30 contestants.

Through this special competition, applicants were asked to submit a 600-word essay explaining why they would like to be selected for this unique opportunity along with a photo by May 25, 2012, to bikermakeover@garage-girls.com. All submissions were evaluated by Garage-Girls judges and four finalists were selected for final judging. Bragg's personal story of family difficulty requiring her to quit her job to take care of her mother earned Bragg the prize package for her 1993 XL 1200.
