The 2016 Quail Motorcycle Gathering at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel, California, definitely displayed a smorgasbord of two-wheeled sculptures from years past to the present. A unique and special occasion where motorcycle aficionados and lovers of two-wheeled iron alike, get together to celebrate motorcycles in their entirety. Collectors from far and wide brought their finest finds to Carmel for the weekend event, ranging from all makes: Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Indian, Kawasaki, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, and more.

The Quail Motorcycle Gathering celebrates the evolution of the motorcycle, honouring both pre- and post-war eras of the world’s finest sports and racing bikes. But the fact that everyone in attendance is just as excited about the next guy or gal to witness the such nostalgic and iconic iron, is the most fun. It's really about one thing and one thing only: motorcycles.

We wanted to showcase some of the most beautiful classic and vintage BMW Motorcycles from the 2016 Quail Motorcycle Gathering because it's not all too often we see such fine displays of work in one setting. Stay tuned for more of the best and brightest from The 2016 Quail Motorcycle Gathering.
