BELL Mixes Iron and Ink For Its New “Go Rogue” CAMPAIGN

Firm Offers Trip To Sturgis; Tattoo Artist Corey Miller to Serve As Bell Featured Artist

We witnessed the unveiling of the new Rogue helmet last month, and now Bell has announced several ways it's going to promote the new lid. One that might get your attention first is the chance to win a trip to the 2013 Sturgis rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. The other one is pretty cool too -- you get to associate with renowned tattoo artist Corey Miller, now a featured artist and spokesman for the "Go Rogue" campaign that's surrounding the new helmet.

The Rogue campaign champions the free-spirited lifestyle associated with a subset of American motorcycle culture, with the implication that no event celebrates the biker lifestyle better than the legendary Sturgis rally. Meanwhile, Miller is considered in many circles to be a true American master of ink on skin, after decades spent honing his craft. Millers five-year run on the TLC series L.A. Ink, catapulted his status from underground inkslinger to globally recognized artist. Miller will be featured in Bells print and digital advertising campaign for the Rogue helmet, as well as a special Rogue video. Taking the feel of the streets even deeper within the campaign is award-winning East Los Angeles street- life photographer, Estevan Oriel. His raw images will be used throughout the campaign.

Bells Go Rogue marketing campaign is capped off by the national consumer promotion that will earn one lucky motorcyclist a grand prize trip to the 2013 Sturgis rally. In addition to the Sturgis trip, the winner also earns the right to be tattooed by Miller; Bell is asking consumers to compete by visiting the Bell page on Facebook and telling the unique story behind the tattoo they want. The contest runs March 5 through May 7th with seven weekly winners earning helmets and t-shirts and the grand prize winner selected at the end of the contest.
