Ever felt like there was never enough time to take in all Americade has to offer? Well, now you just might -- attendees will have two weekends this year to browse the annual motorcycle rally, as organizers recently announced the show will run for a full week.
The biggest motorcycle touring rally is extending its run by three days this year, operating TourExpo Beach from Saturday to Saturday - June 1-8, 2013. Each year Americade week is highlighted by that TourExpo Tradeshow,which takes place at Million Dollar Beach. The Tradeshow is jammed with all manner of accessories, products and tours, and features hundreds of vendors from all over the world. Motorcyclists can expect to encounter everything from the best riding gear to the latest accessories and gadgets for their motorcycles. It's the first time the event will run for 8 days, though the rest of the festivities planned for the 31st annual Americade week, such as the TourExpo Forum and Demos/Rides/Events/etc. -- will have the standard schedule, running Tuesday through Saturday (June 4 - June 8). Organizers advise attendees to bring pre-registration confirmation for entry Sat-Mon.
Since 1983, the Lake George area -- at the base New York's scenic Adirondack Mountains -- has hosted Americade, the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally. Americade draws tens of thousands of riders and passengers each year for a week of spectacular riding, events, exhibits and vendors. With its picturesque backdrop, kick-back atmosphere, and wide variety of scenic motorcycling roads to choose from, the Lake George area is a pretty great location for Americade.
