American Honda Motor Company has wrapped up its cruiser additions for the 2011 model year, with three models: the Sabre, Stateline, and Shadow Aero machines. Honda also announced the first of its motorcycle releases for the 2012 model year, the Gold Wing.
The Stateline blends traditional looks plus progressive elements, with deep fenders and swoopy lines, for an overall modern vibe. MSRP for 2011 is $11,799.
The Sabre’s muscular pro-street style provides a classic ride but more aggressive ergonomics. A 21-inch front wheel and 15-inch rear wheel add to the bike’s attitude. MSRP for 2011 is $11,899.
If you’re into classic retro styling, a low seat height, and the V-twin vibe at a reasonable buy-in, then the Shadow Aero should be on your short list. The 2011 MSRP is $7999.

Many consider the Wing to be the pinnacle of two-up motorcycling, so it’s no surprise Honda will continue offering the luxo-tourer for 2012. There aren’t any major design or mechanical tweaks this time around, however; just enhanced amenities. The latest travel-oriented features include an innovative GPS navigation system with user-friendly programmability for sharing favorite ride routes with friends (which can be accessed online). The Wing also now incorporates a built-in MP3/iPod interface and surround-sound system for a premium listening experience, and brings upgraded styling, even more luggage capacity, greater weather protection, revised suspension settings, and plenty of comfort. Of course, there are packages for Navi, ABS and Airbag to dial in your luxury level. Price: $23,199 to $28,499, and TBD. Availability: May 2011.
