Harley-Davidson Softail Recall

Harley-Davidson Motor Company says it's recalling 4,688 FLS Softail motorcycles manufactured March 25, 2013, to October 2, 2014. The recalled bikes are for the 2014 and 2015 model years. Affected motorcycles may have been manufactured without lamp-outage detection for the front turn signals. The detectors let the rider know when turn signals aren't working. If you don't know your turn signals are broken, it can increase risk on the road.

Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will correct the body control module software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in December 2014. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson's number for this recall is 0618.
