It took Dave Cain three winters to make his Custom truly custom. After adding one piece of chrome, Cain was hooked. There are now approximately 70 chrome pieces on the Harley, and that doesn't include replacing the cables and hoses with braided stainless steel and the custom stainless steel bits. The paint was a limited edition from the Motor Co. itself. Does it look good? The bike has won "Best of Show" four out of the four times it has competed.

Ever have trouble spotting your stock bike in the parking lot at big motorcycle events? Adam Mattes doesn't have that problem thanks to his Road Star's eye-popping Kameleon Kolors blue-to-purple color-changing paint-definitely not for wallflowers. He also hand-polished all the bike's aluminum bits for a chrome look. The tank was stretched and the fender chopped, and that larger rear pulley is sure to add more torque. The Mustang seat, National Cycle hard saddlebags and Yamaha windscreen all provide long-range versatility and comfort for Mattes.

Jason Ross's first bike was love at first sight. With almost 40K miles of riding on the clock, Ross has also managed to find time to truly make the Aero his own. For comfort he added a Mustang seat with backrest and swapped to Shadow A.C.E. 750 bars, wide-blade levers and H-D Retro grips. For oomph he fit a Roadhouse Classic 2-into-1 exhaust, K&N air filter and Dynojet carb kit. And for show Ross bolted on a Cobra lightbar, swingarm covers and floorboards.
