The performance numbers included here are from actual testing of the model or one that is so similar that the performance should be the same. The specifications presented are based on manufacturer's information and subject to change (and there are a few cases where we believe their numbers are incorrect, but hey, they are their bikes). Some are based on best guesses because the manufacturer supplied conflicting information. In some cases, such as seat height (where some manufacturers measure with the suspension compressed by a rider), figures may be based on different measuring methods, and seat heights that we know to be measured laden are marked with an asterisk (*). Prices are manufacturers' suggested prices at the time this guide was prepared, without freight (which some manufacturers charge for separately), but dealers can charge whatever they think they can get. This year we have included addresses where tests or riding impressions of the bikes may be found on our web site.
