Barry Curtis
The Villages, FL
'08 Star Raider
Barry Curtis tells us that his amazing gold Raider is his means of escape. This Vietnam veteran has swathed his ride in a stunning ghosted reaper theme and acres of chrome. The paint around the odometer shows the reaper pensive, taking into account all that has happened and the dash is the end result; the reaper sitting alone, head hanging with the sorrow of war. The bike has to be a real head turner going down the road.
Mike Duncan
Orange Park, FL
'00 Yamaha Road Star
Mike Duncan's Yamaha Road Star has been pumped up with a boatload of go-fast bits. His modifications include: Patrick Racing high compression pistons, Nemisis Racing ported aluminum manifold, Barons Big Air Kit (B.A.K.), and RoadHouse Dooley exhaust along with assorted braided stainless steel lines. Duncan also kept it looking good with hard saddlebags from a '96 Royal Star Tour Deluxe, Burley Mini Apes with internal wiring, and a Corbin dual tour seat done up in faux ostrich. He also has an eye for a cool backdrop.
Dan Peabody
Lake In The Hills, IL
'97 Honda ACE 1100
Dan Peabody purchased his Honda back in '97 with 175 miles on it. He and his brother Mike have done all the work to it. They chopped the front and rear fenders, removed everything that wasn't needed and had the whole thing powder coated flat black. Peabody designed the gloss black handlebars, and his brother handled the welding. The bobber was topped off with Pro1 billet grips, Cobra speedo mount, Mapam forward controls, K&N air filter and a Lucas side mount brake/license plate holder. It looks pretty good for a thirteen-year old bike.
