2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary Edition Dyno Run

In 2023, Harley-Davidson celebrated its 120th anniversary with a limited-edition CVO Road Glide Limited. Along with the expected CVO upgrades, the 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary Edition also features commemorative paint, Alcantara seats with gold and red stitching, and laser-etched serialization on the console insert.

Powering this one-of-a-kind bike is The Motor Company’s Milwaukee-Eight 117. We recently had the same motor on our dyno in the 2023 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 and were impressed with its exhilarating torque.

On our in-house Dynojet 250i dynamometer, the 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary Edition produced 90.1 hp at 4,660 rpm and 111.2 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,290 rpm. Pumping out less peak horsepower and torque than the Breakout 117 as well as weighing 963 pounds on the Cycle World automotive scales (281 pounds more than the Breakout) the CVO Road Glide Limited is noticeably slower off the line from one stoplight to the next.

Although the 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited Anniversary Edition’s performance numbers may be inferior to the Breakout on paper, it serves riders in a different way. Our testing staff fell in love with its comfort, character, and charm.
