Cafe racer, bobber, cafe racer, ice bike, scrambler, flat tracker, dirt bike, cafe racer-- Looking through the 208 Battle of the Kings entrants, finding an actual rideable cruiser is like finding a needle in a haystack. Don't get me wrong, a handful of the cafe racers are amazing looking machines that I would love nothing more than to ride the wheels off, but in a Sportster contest, I'd hope to see a few more real cruisers.

Iron Lady from Harley-Davidson Aachen in Germany is just that. A fully custom, far-out sporty that maintains its stance as a comfortable and rideable cruiser. Using the Iron 883 as the base model, the stance was already there, but the blacked out model needed a lot more if it was going to stand out in the lineup among the Custom Kings.

The builders call this a 'blatant' bike, meaning unapologetic, and it's just that. This bike is loud and proud. Inspired by the flower power movement, the purple candy paint and bright white contrasting flowers are the farthest thing from subtle. Short, curved exhaust add another pop of white and undoubtably another very loud detail. Extended sweeping fenders help bring a little old school lowrider flare to the bike in classic cruiser fashion, and a sissy bar in the back adds style and functionality as well.

We love this bike because of its rideability. Is it the most custom, far-out, best looking bike in the Battle of the Kings? Maybe not, but it's a solid rider that looks like it was built with a purpose other than JUST standing out in a custom contest.
