Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable Rear Shocks ($499.95) utilize a single-tube, nitrogen-charged emulsion design offering enhanced compression and rebound damping compared to the Original Equipment-style air-adjustable shocks, for a controlled-yet-plush ride with less bottoming. The compression and rebound damping is split between the two shocks - stiff spring with rebound damping on the left and soft spring with compression damping on the right - to balance the load of each shock. Larger chambers (40mm diameter pistons and 14mm rods) allow these shocks to react more quickly to impacts. A knob behind the left saddlebag allows the rider to conveniently modify the spring preload via a hydraulic adjuster. Available in Standard Ride Height (P/N 54000008) and Low Ride Height (P/N 54680-10) versions to fit 2009-later Touring models (except Trike).
The Premium Ride Double Cartridge Fork Kit (P/N 45500106, $399.95) complements the Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable Rear Shocks (Low Ride Height and Standard Ride Height) by providing a balanced suspension system capable of delivering superior ride characteristics. The Double Cartridge Fork Kit replaces the original-equipment front suspension to improve resistance to front brake dive, improve cornering and enhance bottoming control. The kit includes fork pipes, cartridges, fork bolts, main springs and oil seals, and fits 2009-later Touring models (except Trike).
