Custom Cycle Control Systems, Inc. has just announced the addition of the new Simplified Air Suspension System for Softail models. Called SAS for short, the improved suspension kit also comes with a 30 day, money-back guarantee. The SAS is said to be easy to install and comes with complete mounting instructions. There's no compressor to mount, no pressure hoses to run, and no fittings to fail. All you have to do is replace your old shocks with a new SAS unit and wire an on/off switch directly to the battery.
The SAS allows you to raise and lower your rear end with the touch of a button. Add air pressure to improve ride quality during changing road conditions or while hauling added weight. Also included, to improve ride quality, is a "pre-set factory" damping valve. At approximately 150 psi, the bike is fully raised and the suspension rests on its piston bumpers at *maximum ride height*. You can continue to increase air pressure for improved riding during cornering or with a passenger.
